Brian Benoit founded Anappdev to build the kind of software he wanted to use: simple to pick up, respectful of your time, and honest about what happens to your data. He designs, builds, tests, and supports everything the studio ships.

Brian is based in North Dakota. The studio works with people and small businesses across the United States, mostly by email and video call.

Anappdev is an independent software studio based in North Dakota.

We do two kinds of work. We make our own apps, starting with GainzTea, a food and workout tracker. And through our Root Native agency, we build custom apps and automation for small businesses that need a specific tool and would rather own it than rent it.

Useful over flashy

An app should do its job and get out of the way. We skip features that look good in a screenshot and do nothing for you on a Tuesday.

Built right, not built fast

We would rather ship late and solid than early and broken. When something is not ready, we say so.

Your data is yours

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run ads inside our apps. You can export what you put in and ask us to delete it. Our Privacy Policy spells this out.

Our pages, our policies, and our replies are written for people who do not work in software. If something here is unclear, tell us and we will fix the wording.
